Drug Dependence/Addiction
Summary:
There are several ongoing clinical trials looking at drug dependence and testing the possibility of CBD and its interaction with the endocannabinoid and neurotransmitter systems. Some of these trials are evaluating if drug-seeking behaviors are reduced when it comes to alcohol, cocaine, and opioid dependence. Early findings are demonstrating that CBD may help in regulating these drug-seeking behaviors.
